[By Riku's estimates, he had been wandering around for hours. Every unlocked door happen to lead into another hallway, some variation of red opulence that sprinted back tacky and right into gaudy. It got tiring early on. It became annoying by the time he hit his eighth hallway.
As time accumulated, so did hunger. What he tried to recall the last time he ate anything, his memory was amiss. Had it been whole day? Days? The pang of hunger made itself pestering. All he could do was continue exploring and brace his stomach to quiet any growls.
Then he smelled it. A bouquet of fresh baked goods and sweetness that gave squirm to his stomach. The line from when he got a whiff of bakery to another door went fast, his palm outreaching for the knob to step into a sizeable room lined by tables of various delectable goods.
Sweet breads, cakes, cookies, and things he had no name for. Saliva built up in his mouth and too caught up by the buffet before him, he failed to notice the door he entered vanish. A passing mirror put on display how out of place he looked there, loose pants and tank top compared to a almost palace of the building.
The thought came and went, a sense of concern following that all this food felt wrong. Far more than any single person could eat or even four. His cyan eyes scouting the room for anything out of place. Only chairs, tables, and loads of desserts in wait.
Noise of another door opening took his attention. Someone to ask about all this before he picked at it. After all, a little wouldn't hurt with so much?]
